About Jennifer

Have a look into Jennifer's journey:

I began quilting in South Africa in 1988 after the birth of my first child.

I soon discovered that handwork, rather than sitting at a sewing machine, was what I enjoyed the most. The combination of embroidery, hand piecing and quilting led me to crazy quilting. This was a pivotal point in my quilting life. In a process that began with freedom and play, I discovered a medium of fusing the influences of my childhood in South Africa with the traditions of Victorian crazy quilting. My passion for this gentle art led to me teaching.

Small groups of women in a circle sharing beads, buttons, threads and life stories is one of life’s simple pleasures.
